A friend of mine and many others was handsome, smart, crafty, well, just an all around great guy. We lost him 3 years ago and no one will ever know why for sure. He required four different memorials in four different states as he touched so many lives. This weekend an annual memorial began amongst those of us from college. As I sat in the garden with friends I’ve known since the mid 90’s my heart was heavy. Life is such a wild ride. Then as stories were told, laughter and tears shared, I was over come with gratitude for being reunited with some great people in my life. The re-union has my heart lit up and delighted. Comforted by the many memories I’ll never stop missing my friend and for him I’ll keep the connection strong and continue to support any chance we have to all get together.
